Looking for Line: Kate Butcher + Susie Williams
Kate Butcher, a friend of mine and married to mate Charles, had an opening night for a small exhibition a few weeks back entitled Looking for Line. Took along the camera to get a few shots of the people there.
The night started off with cheese and biscuits

Kate’s sister Bec hated having the camera near her but I kind of like this sequence

Sydney hasn’t had much rain, so this was a chance to document the little that fell that night

Hey,
I was a librarian for the NAS from 1992-2002, following which I retired back to my wife’s hometown, Dunedin (New Zealand). I LOVED working in that environment (most of the time the Library was in the old Chapel — the round building in the middle of the campus!), but in the end the admin made it pretty clear they didn’t care if I stayed or left, so I opted for “early retirement” and left for parts far afield. I have to say, though, that I still miss much of what the NAS is all about, and I DO appreciate the odd chance to see some up to date visuals of the place! Hope the show went well for Kate and Susie…
Take care,
Geoff Dunbar
