The money shot: Mr Xavier Rudd commanding the stage at the Enmore Theatre Xavier Rudd is touring around Australia at the moment as part of his worldwide White Moth tour, bring Canandian Jeremy Fisher with him as support. The gig definitely didn't disappoint. Jeremy Fisher came on at about 8pm for a half hour set, playing a bunch of blues inspired love ballads. He had some great ideas for the gents about wooing the ladies - aim low, that way you can only get better with age, don't be that guy who "isn't who the girl married" due to him getting worse ...

The Klaxons live at the Enmore Theatre in Newtown The Klaxons hit Sydney following a delay due to their bass player misjudging a jump and breaking his leg while in France earlier in the year. Support was from the Melbourne boys Damn Arms, who I've previously shot, when they toured with Midnight Juggernauts, in Newcastle. Was good to catch up with drummer Simon. Hollie Smith's able hands on the keyboard at The Vanguard in Newtown My mate Duncan and his brother Angus were heading along to see New Zealand's legendary jazz singer Hollie Smith, so I checked FasterLouder to see if I could cover it for them. Luckily I was given the spot (although my name mysteriously wasn't on the door list, but with camera in hand and an email to and from the EMI representative I was deemed trustworthy enough for the venue to let me in to shoot. Mysteriously another couple of fellow Sydney flickrers were present and snapped me in action ...
