Midnight Juggernauts first gig in over six months brought the locals out in force! Sounds in the Grounds hit the University of Sydney's Manning Bar once again in October to please the listening tastes of most people. With acts including: Midnight Juggernauts, British India, Van She, Bluejuice, Lost Valentinos , Children Collide, [IS] and Numbers Radio there was something for everyone. This is also the first festival (small as it may be) that I've had the privilege to shoot two years running. Black Rebel Motorcycle Club rocking the Metro Theatre in Sydney To start the year off I headed into the city after my first day back at work (and going back home to get changed and grab my camera gear) was Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Thankfully my name was on the door list this time (unlike last time I shot there the month before) and there wasn't a problem getting in. Got the opportunity to shoot 28 Days at The Club House Hotel out in Maitland for I'm With The Band. They're on their final hurrah tour - calling it quits after a decade of music in Australia. Was great to be able to attend one of the gigs - having listened to a fair bit of their music while growing up - and meeting the guys afterwards was a plus too.
